Description: Your heart will be stirred through this moving video that reminds us to “give thanks in all circumstances”. This video works great as a sermon illustration on the topic of thanksgiving or complaining. It is also great for a special Thanksgiving Service. “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18 TODAY NOVEMBER 18th you will get This Turkey Countdown FREE! I am using this for thanksgiving that out of our abundance we MUST remember those who are in need...to strengthen our outreach ministry to the greater community as we feed those a dinner that have no place to go.. our outreach must be strengthened...thanks for that remembrance on thanksgiving..there is more to do in our gratitude..

Great piece. Showing the contrast between our wanted desires and the world's needs is something we need to be reminded of at times. When is the last time I prayed thanking God that I have socks for example. There are many items that seem trivial to me but to most of the world, they are actually a luxury. Thanks for making something so simple yet very powerful.

Something about this message disturbs my soul. It isn't that we shouldn't give thanks in all circumstances. It's the juxtaposition of persons whose circumstances are so dire against our own realtively minor compaints. Is giving thanks the lone response a Christian should have to these statistics and images? I felt more moved to pray: "Lord, I give thanks for all the blessings of my life - now give me the heart of your Son that I might share those blessings with a hurting world." Bob Weeks
