I agree with Joellen...
We have several mothers in our body who have adopted, it would be nice to see that mentioned. We also have other races...this video doesnt touch on that.
We wont be able to use it either. Sorry.

Mark is nitpicking. The video does not mention natural birth mothers either. Any of the mothers mentioned could also be "Mothers who adopt". Coming from a family with adopted siblings, we always celebrated "Mothers Day", not Mothers day with strings attached.

In addition to what others have already said, I appreciate the spirit of this video. It doesn't sugarcoat motherhood like most do. Would be improved by words of comfort and hope for moms who have lost children, too.

I have some personal experience of adoption and I have to say I disagree with Mark. Adoptive parents do not think of themselves as different to the single mom, the working mom, the stay at home mom all shown in the video. The consider themselves mom in the same way as any other parent howsoever or wheresoever the child is born. i think it would be insulting to single out adoptive parents as "different" to "normal" parents.

I agree with Mark on the adoptive mothers being left out. I would have also liked to see moms of other races. We are a small church with just a few African American families and I'm conscious of showing things that only have caucasian people in it. Add a few of those moms and it's a great video.
